Family
Hi everyone! Have you seen the new mood board at Scrap Africa . It's a sublime, vintage beauty!
Inspired by it I've scrapped my recent birthday celebration, an intimate affaire between my loved ones and I
I took some clues from the board to use it as a sketch, had a ton of fun with watercolors, in fact I got the paper so wet I was able to fold it like fabric! The pleats are a sight to behold!
My chosen plate of desert was a cheese tray and it was really fun seeing the chef personally delivering it to me. Coolest thing was seeing a black candle with tiny white polka dots, did they knew me or what!!!
Here's the mood board, thanks for helping me revisit my special day!

CHA winter 2016 recap
Hi everyone!!! I've had quite an exciting beggining of 2016! CHA was an amazing experience. Being part of the Ambasssadors for the Relics and Artifacts line gave me the opportunity to sit, demo and meet people from all over the world at the Prima booth! Being in the company of Sandra Evertson is amazing, she is so sweet and kind and intuitive, a genuine soul I've been blessed to know! Also in the company of great artists such as Debby Anderson, John Creighton-Petersen, Kimberly Cochrane and Wendy Morris-Saponaro it was quite the unforgettable experience!!!
Sneaking a moment with Debi who now has her own line of dies and I'm so thrilled for her!!! And of course Brenda Walton who I just absolutely love!!!
Debby Anderson love her to pieces!!!
It is always a treat to meet someone you keep a daily relationship online! This is Luciana Warnowski from Brazil!!!
I also met Jill Mackay at the Sizzix booth!!!
Another exciting thing was getting published by Jewelry Affaire and then being posted on Instagram by Where Women Create
One of the cards I made for the Relics and Artifacts section also got featured at the Prima Catalog!!!

Prima BAP, Mixed Media challenge
Hi everyone! Just got back from a wonderful vacation, rested and inspired and in absolute LOVE with the glorious new Garden Fable collection by Prima. It was waiting for me!!!!
So using this month's awesome sketch by Keren for the Prima BAP, and Finnabair's Mixed Media Academy Challenge, here's my take!
I also used Finnabairs bubble mask with a pencil for more circles, I love the handwritten feel of this paper. I loved Riika's technique with the pencil/stencil, it rhymes!!! and then I stamped using Net & Wire and Don't Forget to Fly!
Franks pearls are also here!
Here's the sketch so you can play too!
So using this month's awesome sketch by Keren for the Prima BAP, and Finnabair's Mixed Media Academy Challenge, here's my take!
I loved the sketch so I attacked it with reckless abandon using the new Bloom Spray and a paintbrush, free strokes done with my hands, random circles done with a glass and the bottle cap, and then in the same spray splash I used Finnabair's new stamps, to continue in the same palette
I also used Finnabairs bubble mask with a pencil for more circles, I love the handwritten feel of this paper. I loved Riika's technique with the pencil/stencil, it rhymes!!! and then I stamped using Net & Wire and Don't Forget to Fly!
I then stamped Finnabair;s saying, with sticky embossing powder and used her Mica powder in gold to highlight the phrase
some SIIC, wood, brads and resins to continue the circle theme and draw your eye to the picture
I love my daughter's style, she's only ten but she knows what she wants and wears it well so I couldn't omit her converse sneakers and her pose, LOL!
Here's the sketch so you can play too!
