I have been working non stop on this card, you could say it is miniature week for me. Everything is little. I started working with
Kazan's sketch, first thinking it looked like the beach with fish all around, and then forcing me to work in a different direction. Making a garden, with a picket fence and all to mimic the scallops. Inspired by
The Shabby Tearoom challenge. There are 3 elements in Kazans sketch, I wanted to use flowers, the bird and something else so I made "graffiti" on the fence. And "carved" our initials inside a heart, LOL, and inside there is another bird with 4-ever!!!
I also think this qualifies as shabby chic
Here is the little Maya Road bird all deckled up in papers and pearls and embossing...
and the tiny organza blooms, handstitched to the card, some of them were a speckle in my index finger!
