It was
pure coincidence that I had this recent photo in my hands when Fi released her new palette at CC. What a precious photo for inspiration and the colors are fab!
Can you see the resemblance here, between the Wii game and the dollhouse, it couldn't be more perfect. I wanted to highlight that the girls are wearing skates, but for the life of me couldn't find the piece of scrap I had saved with the skates on. Of course they will magically appear when I am NOT looking...
I used Prima's new mask, I am in loooove, it is more than I wanted I gessoed my way around the photo to bring the attention to the girls
Part of the challenge included stitching and I was hooked a couple of hours with my needle, I used twine in a different shade of green too bad you can't tell by the picture.
I found the inspiration to do my page here
it is a new site to help you find your mojo, no challlenges, just sketches, if you need some go use the link and find some inspiration!
Then I did a second challenge for Rachael, it is a recipe fun and gave me just the perfect excuse to scrap this cool photos of the kids at the pool!

I texturized my canvas with a mask and then machine stitched it to the cardstock.
No sketch just my imagination running wild with the pieces I had in front of me!
hope you find inspiration to work your precious everyday moments
and enjoy your Sunday!!!

Gorgeous pages as always Milagros, love how you used the colours and even the doll house in the background is perfectly co-ordinated, lol. The mask and stitching is such a beautiful touch to the page. Will also remember to check out those sketches. Thanks for playing along.
Good to see you having gesso-fun, Milagros! Love the intense blue in the first LO and the textured canvas in the second :)
Hugs from India.
Beautiful, beautiful layouts, Milagros! I am in awe of your designs! You are SO good at adding texture and detail. Love the masking and the hand-stitching is out of this world! :)
