Swimming with mermaids, Prima BAP June

Hi everyone, I think I have still a few hours to enter my Prima BAP  for the month of June!!!
I decided to use Seashore for almost everything here and make a canvas to decorate my daughter's room for the summer.  What little girl isn't in love with mermaids?
I recycled the packaging for my big bubbles

I stamped my doll on the paper and decided to use sequins layered individually, real sea shell for her bra
instead of the hexagons in the sketch I used circles to mimic bubbles

and how about some cool leaves for her fins?

I mixed 2 different gelatos for my splashes

and I think they match the collection beautifully

I so love the dimension this one took!

Here's the cool Prima bap

Mails, OBW

Happy Sunday!!!
We have a new prompt for you by Kirsty this week at Our Beautiful World and it is Mails!  I wanted to find a pic of postage marked here in Puerto Rico, as being part of the US we use the US mail system to process our mail.  And the US has been graced by some of our famous in their post stamps like this first day release of our poet Julia de Burgos
And remember on the texture post how I presented an image of the El Morro Fort in Old San Juan?
well it was graced with its own stamp too
Our Famous baseball player Roberto Clemente
And our flag with our uniquely San Pedrito
and here's my share today, the way my daily mail is gathered, you can notice the San Juan, Puerto Rico marks
And one of my new favorites, the Harry Potter collection!!!!

of course I have these as my new treasures!

I happen to love stamps, wherever they may come so I was truly happy with this weeks prompt

Specially because I will get to see some of yours around the world,
so please don't forget to share, I can't wait to see!!!!!

CSI 128 Pretty

Hi everyone a new Friday is up and with it a new CSI case file opens
Here's my interpretation of this weeks challenge, using a pic of my DD recital where she made us all so proud!
some closies for you

I used chalkboard elements for my evidence, bow, rosettes, flowers, distressing and pastels all played in!

I used a Pitt Pastel pencil to journal in my chalkboard spot

I used pearls for my title

look at this amazing inspiration board !
hope to see you in the gallery!!!

CSI 127 Family

Here's the current case up a CSI No 127 as with every second release of the month there's a sketch done by Em from Page Drafts, pretty cool to work with!
some closies for you!

For my testimony I chose hidden journaling and put it underneath one of my tabs

For my evidence I used lace , a pair of something glitter dots and a symmetrical scroll on both sides

I also pleated my paper to give it a ruffled design
Hope to see you in the gallery!!!!

Secret Garden

Hi everyone Happy Monday to you!
I loved the new moodboard at LPS and thought I'd play.  A few weeks ago my father in law rescued an injured hummingbird and was nursing him when we visited his home.  What a thrilling opportunity since what are the odds you get so close to one and be able to photograph it up close?
I paired my pics with Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection, a perfect match to the pics and the mood board challenge with a touch of added blue and yellow, I also painted some white gesso on the background to match the board and have a new surface to stamp!

and some closies for you

of course we needed to pair this Kodak moment with a Fairy!!!!

some fuzzy cutting

here the focus is on the star the gorgeous hummingbird!

and here's the mood board in case you want to play too!

By the Seashore, OBW

Happy Sunday, it's a brand new week for us at Our Beautiful World! It's also Father's Day here in PR and the USA
Copa del Mundo y Día del Padre
this is the so adorable Google image to celebrate the World Cup and Father's Day! they have been having the cuuutest images day by day!
This week Robyn chose the word Seashore as our prompt

this Instagram was taken at the South West point of the island a secluded and gorgeous beach near the
Cabo Rojo lighthouse.  A Beautiful place, you can find high cliffs on the other side and I bet you it looks like a seashell from above because it is a cove!
And I had to share this night time shot of the Vieques island here in Puerto Rico as we have a bioluminiscent bay for your pleasure to see on a moonless night! As soon as the water moves it lights up!
And as you can see the sky is on fire as well when you take a trip to see this wonder they also tell you all the constellations in the sky because they are easily pinpointed!

Go and visit the teams pics so stunning you will love them! And do share with us your beautiful piece of the world

A Mother's love is beautiful, KIU

Continuing with my due posts here's my entry for this months challenge at Kraft it Up!
We were asked to work with this sketch by Becky Fleck, using the color PINK and splatters
I had a lot of fun using one of the newest dies by Brenda Walton to create my huge bloom and leaves, there's plenty of texture there with paper, tissue, tulle and hessian.
I created a pocket in the back of my photo to tuck in a note for my kids. And I layered a Kraft laser die cut by MME with bling!
here's the sketch
some closies for you to look
the background chevron/white is GORGEOUS and it's from Canvas Concepts

the MME die cut and some Cosmo Cricket glitter, some handwriting

and me and the kids on Mother's Day!
I enjoyed working this page very much hope to see you playing with us this month!

OBW Animals

I'm baaack!!!!!! FINALLY I have my computer back and I hope it BEHAVES because I am sooo absolutely behind and so missing you all, OMG!!!! so much to share, but first things firts this weeks prompt over at Our Beautiful World was chosen by Manuela and it's a fun one:Animals
There's so much to say about the majestic beauty of a peacock

Ditto for their feathers!
Now I was supposed to be your host last week and my chosen word was textures so I had to share my textures with you even if belatedly
Have you noticed how the word texture is appearing everywhere, like in the food network, in the house decorating channel and of course in the scrapbook world!
the different textures of concrete and the patina that time leaves

the textures of concrete vs metal

the textures of exposed bricks

and of course the textures of bark!
So do share your animals with us at

Thanks for stopping by
