Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry I missed you all this past week, my dad was very ill and I took time off to settle some things and be with him. I will catch up with you as the week goes by...

This weeks challenge at TSTR is perfect for Mom's day that is coming pretty soon

What goes inside?

This week at CSI the palette no.67 is very dear to me

those are some sweet boy colors and I just had the most perfect photos of my nephew

I decided to use the sketch to the tee

and using the characters in evidence I stamped this little robot and gears

to me they represent what is going on in his little mind...

this gorgeous boy undertands everything you say, yet he still doesn't talk

so all those doodles inspired by the inspiration photo this week at CSI

inspired me to draw, in a way capturing what he must have in his mind.

I am pretty sure that one day, the bubble will burst and he'll just start pouring it all out

We can't wait to listen Lucas!!!!

I took some liberties in creating my page from the April sketch at PaperHaus

that I wrote on the left part of my photos as the sketch

I reduced the area to constrain my photos and to have some white space

Bon Voyage I will miss you Linda!

Spotlight Artist Badge

Linda Robinson will be leaving CCCB, she has been a source of inspiration to everyone of us for a very long time. If you get the chance go visit her blog, she always has the most amazing photographs, her work is divine! She will surely be missed, so I decided to paint her this little girl, grabbing her blankie and already missing her

Isn't she sweet... I used the inspiration photo from TSTR

and for my recycled itemI used a piece of cardboard and some canvas pieces, remnants of an old painting I had done, they had the perfect acqua in them

I just went to say my farewell in her blog and found one of her amazing photographs

Linda I am giving you full credit hope you don't mind;)

I distressed and punched holes for a sweet little wall hanging

I stamped a remnant piece of canvas and handwrote my message to Linda
