CSI 111 Wish

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Time for a new case at CSI, a fun one with yummy colors you won't want to miss!!!

I share my birthday with a few of my daughter's BFF's so I bought cupcakes since this year it fell on a perfect Thursday and we celebrated! 

For my evidence I used sprinkles, all those yummy sequins...animal accent and wood in my owl,

dry embossing around my page, something cone shaped in my background mat. I chose to weave paper with fab words! and 3 of something in my sequins clusters, the 3 girls and their 3 cupcakes!

For my testimony I wrote about about childhood memories

I decided to use the Purple Pumpkin sketch of the month for my page rotating it counterclockwise

and our yummy palette!

A few days ago St. Valentine's was around and I got thinking of love in its many ways

Today I celebrate the joy of parenthood as I share to you my brother and his son

CSI 110 I have 2 Queens

Happy Friday everyone, and a very Happy St. Valentine's too!!!

This week over at CSI we have one adorable case, you are about to fall in love with this one I tell you, it doesn't matter if it has no pink, red or hearts...

You all know about my pets, well these babies rule the house and I couldn't resist taking inspiration from the photo and adding a few accessories to my dearies!!

For my evidence I used pet accents, notice the collar and leash...feathers ( in Luna's crown), crowns, over Luna and for my journaling...Bling and pearls, never too much of that! ribbon/bow, something sheer, my Maya Road journaling spot crown and lace for  Isis tutu!!!

For my testimony I wrote about the interesting lives of these two!

Picture Perfect

Finally my Blue Fern chippies are here!!!!! the mailman delivered today and of course I had rip them open and play... I used the February sketch challenge to use them!

I am using new Authentique paper with Echo Park's February release it was so perfect to play with on Valentine's Day!

I wish I could extra large this and possible even wear it,it's like real jewelry, but for my page...

Love You

Hi everybody!  I am catching up on favorite places to be like Scrap Around the World, their mood board is a dream of gorgeous colors and gold.  Inspired by them and the hearts I have made my page!
Love bugs is also the theme at CCCB and Charlene asked for a card or project with the word Love in it!

Mercedes had a pajama party this weekend and I took advantage to get some cute photos without her minding.  She was so happy they were " twinsies". I had purchased matching pajamas for her and her doll to give her on Valentine's day, but due to the occasion she got them a bit earlier!

If you can spot them Eila, these are the hearts and stars you gave me GORGEOUS Papirdesignn!!!!

CSI 109 Looking up to you!

Hi everyone, time for a new case over at CSI the case closes on February 16 so make some time to play!!!

For my evidence I did some dry embossing , pounding on my page with a hammer, used a bookpage, 

a silver accent on the "o" of awesome and stacked my layers of papers

For my testimony I chose to make a tiny booklet to document the special relationship my nephew has with my son his big cousin!

Yep your heard me right.  The filming crew of the smashing movies"Pirates of the Caribbean" have been filming here again and I got to meet one of their ships in the flesh, err the wood, err the derelict wood...

Repetition

Happy Sunday everyone!

Excuse my  being SOOOO behind on things, ever since I got back I am still not up to date on stuff.  I missed my deadlines on Our Beautiful World, but I am determined to catch up...

Wendy chose repetition as our prompt for today.

Last Sunday we celebrated the birthday of Mercedes cousin in a very trendy place, you might have seen my LO here on coffee.

This place in Old San Juan is like a memorabilia place of the owners of Chocolate Cortés.  They started making chocolate bars to melt and do hot chocolate back in 1929.  Their chocolate had a signature presentation and it was classic CC, it had their name right on it.

To my surprise a whole wall of the place was covered in chocolate molds from floor to ceiling, it was sooo beautiful and clever to recycle some of their old molds that way!

If you look closely you will see the name Cortes right there!

CSI 108 I love you

Hi everybody!

 Time for a new case over at CSI, it is sooo beautiful you may have to go check it out yourself!

I had so much fun here pulling out my bog, old Fancy Pants stamps, do you remember those? I embossed them in white and loved it! There's also new stamps, like the textural ones from Kaisercraft.  Ancient Basic Grey rub ons, since I was dusting off supplies... and they work brilliantly! Some grungy Tim Holtz for good measure too and to top it all some sweet Bo Bunny pearls in chocolate, yum!

I just totally LOVE this photo, I was able to capture the dove in perfect flight and the sweet face of my daughter as she fed them!
