Inspiration can come from all sources, in my case I had a little one who had her first piano recital. I loved the center scroll in the sketch and wanted to use something that was music related. This past Saturday I sat down and drew my inspiration for this page. I wanted a pentagram and some music notes but I also wanted dimension as in chipboard, and so I created... here is some of the process

When the time came she played beautifully and she even had a standing ovation, there was one proud mama behind the camera, all excited and happy!!!
and here is my son performing for me on a Sunday morning!

What absolutely FABULOUS pages! This is such a great idea for an embellishment on a music page, and fits the sketch so wonderfully. Your attention to detail is spectacular... I wouldn't have guessed that quote was handwriting if you hadn't told me - it's stunning!
