For the boys

Finally this is a boy only post !!! long overdue, I was looking for inspiration to work my sons Confirmation pictures.  And decided to go with Sketchabilities,  #72
Confirmation is a Catholic Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
And it is a ceremony done by the Bishop. It is a very special day for us.
Since I was so inspired by the pics and the papers decided to go to the next one and also worked sketch 71
 here's my version.
I decided to substitute the cluster of blooms for the canvas and paper banners and move my journal to the side of each photo to document the ceremony.

And I didn't stop at 2, kept scrolling down and working...did #70

I just love seeing them together, and how about those cute BG envelopes, sweet!
And you are not gonna believe it but that BG paper kept on giving...this is my last page with whatever I had left

My DD is using the dress I wore for my communion when I was her age, and mom is also in the picture, yeahh!!!
So that's it for this post, sure was a full one, but I still have tons to catch up to , so I will keep on working!
hugs

Wow, you have been a clever girl!! So many sketches and you rocked them all. How clever to use simolar colours and designs on your pages to keep them 'together'. Such an important moment ,too...

Oh, wow! What precious layouts, Milagros! I absolutely got chills looking at the expression on your son's face in those photos! And the family photos at the end were priceless, too. How amazing that little Miss M is wearing your own dress! These are stunning, my friend! Truly stunning!

Fantastic work with these sketches, Milagros. I agree with Bente--such a great idea to use similar colors to tie them together. Love how you turned all the flowery elements from the sketches into accents perfect for layouts celebrating a male. Beautiful job to celebrate this momentous occasion.
