Hi everyone! me again catching up on my pics... Both my kids already started school so that's what i am doing.  I have started with Miss M first.  And for inspiration I am using the mood board and sketch over at scrap around the world and the word blessed for the CCCB challenge
it's all in the colors...

here's my starting point, these new stamps by Prima are so fab, they come apart into 5 circles!!!

I worked my background following the sketch, even though they are not clear I could put the threads together!, excuse the background mess, but that's just me pulling everything out.  Like my friend Myriam says, if my table's not messy, there's no mojo in my brain...

then I started filling it up with more stamps...

and started playing with color, just like the ones on the cake picture
gelatos are awesome on wood pieces too

I had a little one helping me with the photos, she did a fine job, heh?

I thought it looked like a dream catcher, so I went all out with it and exactoed some of the pieces and attached a feather (also from the inspirational pic)
bows and hearts too...from the first photo's charms

my journaling ...this year she enters a new phase in her Montessori schooling, it's a big girl step into a new level, but I know my little one and she will do well, she is blessed like that and always eager to learn

more wood with gelatos and glossy accent...

can you see the" dream catcher"?
and the ruffled ribbon....

the color palette was inspired by the cake and my daughter's shirt and surroundings, you have to know this colors are totally out of my comfort zone, but once I started I had so much fun!!!
So it pays to think outside the box every now and then.
I pulled my gelatos in the following colors if you want to use them:

tangerine
mango
pistachio
margarita mix

blessed with learning!

and here's Eila's fabulous mood board:

I hope you make some time to play, as always love that you are here!!!

I've been eyeballing gelatos so your tutorial is timely for sure! Thanks! Ps. Congrats to your little one on moving up a level in Montessori! My daughter is a primary 2nd year this fall and she is so excited to no longer be a "1st year newbie!" :-D
