Almost 18 years ago I married my best friend. Waking me down the isle was my little brother
now all grown up into a man in his US Marines dress blues. I got marrried on a Saturday morning @ 9:00AM and we walked around the cobblestones streets of Old San Juan Puerto Rico. It was such a proud moment for him seeing her big sister to the altar.
I said " Will you walk me to the altar"
He said" Yes"
The rest of my jornaling goes like this
All Grown Up that's how it feels walking alongside your baby brother down the aisle. We felt grown up, important and so very special. Granted its not anyone else but my treasure growing up, the kid I loved the most dressed up in his soldier uniform.
I used the sketch and journaling promp from OUAS and color palette #78 @ CSI
a peek at my jornaling on the tag behind the photo
I used remnants from my wedding dress that my mother saved since she was my seamstress!
My tiara was designed by my mom with brass filigree pieces that my brother soldered.
