3 mariposas

July BAP is up at Prima and as always they have an awesome sketch to play with!

Since the new releases are almost ready for the summer CHA I feel the need to use my hoarded stash...anyone out there like me??? If I want to buy new things like their new release Anna Marie that has me swooning, then you gotta use what you have and make room for the new ;)

So here's my entry  "3 mariposas/3 butterflies"
I backstitched the butterfly trail with twine! and substituted the stars in the sketch for flowers!

old and new blooms alike.  I am particularly fond of these Hello Pastel blooms

and another fave is the fabric one on the back with the sparkly sequins center!!!!

and my sweet three butterflies!

it so happened that we were at the butterfly garden at the Zoo and as the 3 girls were wandering I captured three Monarchs too, super sweet the clusters of both girls and butterflies!
