September

Hi September! You know me well I have mixed feelings about you...
Although hurricane season is officially from June 1st to November 30th it is September the month we all dread the most, or fear, or don't want happening...
Yes it's paradise here until this monsters start forming in the west coast of Africa and end up here.
Specially since I live in the eastern part of the island,  we are in a constant alert when this month drops by.
My image this month is a screen shot I took of my computer and the announcement of the 2013 season, because this is what I think when the word September is heard.
And that right there is the eye of the hurricane on top of the Eastern Antilles, pretty close to Cuba.

I found this image on the web:

it tracks all the hurricanes from 1851 to 2012, scary huh?

I hope your September images give me hope and bring me sweet images in far away places, of neat things to do and see that don't scare me as this do.  So please please share them with us at
where the prompt for week 10 is September

Wow, amazing!!! the power of nature :). Dearest, be comforted this year as I read in the news that the weather experts are all baffled as to why their fancy charts are showing a quiet, almost no hurricane activity as yet, so late for the season.

You know what?. A sage said once, that weather patterns are a direct indication of humanity's thoughts and feelings all over the world. When you think & feel of something, they will manifest. Knowing this, every time I read about a disturbing weather news, I would sit quietly, contemplate and 'talking' to the weather to be calm, dissipate and spare humanity from chaos, most importantly send lots of LOVE to the situation. With Grace, it helps to either stop it from happening or lessen the impact :). Try this whenever you feel worries about anything at all :). HUGS!

i can see why you are frightened by these storms. they are fierce and damaging and you clearly have to deal with a lot of them.

i hope that you and yours stay safe.

I would be afraid too, you can come and stay with me and enjoy the beauty of fall instead.

Hoping all is safe and quiet for you this month.

I can understand why you fear hurricanes. I have never lived where they happen but I have lived where there are tornadoes and have felt a few earthquakes so can understand your fear. Nature is very powerful as well as beautiful. Thanks for sharing your photos with us and praying for your safety during this month.

Fantastic photos, we have storms in Denmark but not as severe as in many other countries.
